2022 Ram ProMaster 2500 · 159" High Roof
Meet Andi
I named the van Andiamo, Italian for "let's go." Andi for short. Van life was my dream for a few years, and this is where it got to: a low-mile ProMaster with the expensive, hard parts already bought and bolted on.
The roof, solar, bed lift, heat and water are already handled, so the next owner can go straight to the fun part: cabinets, cushions, finishes.

Andiamo. Let's go.
The plan
The vision
Andi was designed as a family camper for campground trips. The layout is inspired by a well-known family Sprinter build: a convertible dinette at the back and a bunk that lifts out of the way.
By day, the Happijac electric bed lift parks the upper bed against the ceiling, and two benches face a pedestal table. At night the table drops level with the benches to make a bed for two adults, and the upper bunk comes down about a foot and a half for the kids.
The benches hide the fresh water tank on one side and the batteries and electrical on the other. Up front: the Nova Kool fridge, a slide-out composting toilet behind a curtain, a shoe cubby by the door, and a small kitchenette with a sink, a 12V oven and a flip-up cutting board. Shower outside between the rear doors; plug into shore power at the campground.

Questions
Can I see it and take it for a test drive?
Yes. Andi is in Cornelius, NC, just north of Charlotte on Lake Norman. Test drives are welcome once the new starter battery is in. Send a note through the form below and we'll set up a time.
Can I bring my own mechanic?
Absolutely. Bring your mechanic, or we can meet at a shop for a pre-purchase inspection.
What's the history? Can I run a Carfax?
Clean title, bought brand new, one owner, no accidents, smoke-free and pet-free. The VIN is 3C6LRVDG7NE101307. Run it on Carfax or AutoCheck, check open recalls free at NHTSA, or check theft and total-loss records free with NICB VINCheck.
Why so few miles?
Life got busy. Andi has mostly been parked beside the house for the past two years, outside, and rarely driven. The engine runs great, and the oil has been changed about once a year.
Anything wrong with it?
One thing: the starter battery died from sitting. I'll put in a new one before you buy, or knock $200 off the price, your choice.
How does payment work with the loan?
It works the standard way: cashier's check, bank check or wire transfer. There's a loan on the van, so part of the payment goes straight to the lender to pay it off, the lender releases the title, and the title is signed over to you. Meeting at the lender or your bank keeps it simple and safe for both of us.
How many people can ride in it?
Five, all with seatbelts: the two factory front seats plus three Ford Transit seats bolted to steel floor bars. The rear seats pop out for cleaning or when you need the cargo space.
Who did the build work?
I did, all of it: the roof rack, solar, windows, heater, tanks and bed lift. I planned the electrical system with Stoke Loaf Van, a van-build consultancy, and the parts list comes with the van.
Is there a video walkthrough?
Yes, a full 13-minute tour of the van and the planned layout at vn.life/tour. It's password-protected; ask through the form and I'll send you the password.
What about warranty?
The factory 5-year / 60,000-mile powertrain warranty runs from the original 2022 in-service date, into 2027. The 3-year basic warranty has ended.
Does the VNLIFE license plate come with it?
In North Carolina, plates stay with the owner rather than the vehicle. If you want VNLIFE, ask. I'm happy to release it so you can try to request it from the NC DMV.
Can I buy the van and the domain separately?
Yes. Buy either one, or both together. Pick the option on the form.
Can I rename it?
Of course, though Andi might be offended.
